Highlights from the 2nd Annual Poultry and Rabbit Forum

On March 26, 2010, Canadian Farm Business Management Council hosted  the Value Plus workshop. Those who attended were shown how to add value to their products, secure new markets and boost financial results.

On March 27, 2010, CCIPPA designed a one day workshop benefiting agricultural producers in BC. Over 100 people joined in on presentations on Farm to School Lunch Programs, poultry and rabbit information sessions and a special presentation by Joel Salatin, international speaker and author. He held a captive audience as he described his successes in farming.  Ample time was set aside in the agenda for networking and socializing and the newly completed Mobile Poultry Unit was unveiled in a ribbon cutting ceremony by Minister Steve Thomson.
